This group is for anyone who wants to learn how to play rock, metal, alt guitar, bass etc. Amateurs teaching others how to play, hanging out & learning new techniques, riffs & just having a good time with friends.
This is a group for acoustic guitarists and other unplugged musicians with all genres welcome. I'm sorry no amps or boom boxes. YES, acoustic bass, Stand up Bass allowed. This will be held on the sidewalk in front of Pharaohs American Grill, North Hills for musicians and music lovers of all walks of life. Plenty of room with two parking spaces free and security to make sure participants and our instruments are respected.

This meetup is for musicians and fans of acoustic music. Old Time, bluegrass, folk, blues rock, jazz, traditional and contemporary music. We have jams every few weeks inside and out depends on the season; somtimes at cafes, libraries, and retirement homes. Beginners are always welcome to attend! We jam throughout the Triangle: from Mebane and Hillsborough, to Durham, Chapel Hill, Raleigh and beyond. We meet weekly to play our acoustic instruments and to experience the joy of music shared. Each person in the circle takes a turn in saying what the next song will be. He/she says what the key is and says what the chords are. Others then follow along. This jam is best for intermediate skilled musicians. Types of music include folk, blues, mellow rock, bluegrass, country and gospel.
